the super

revlon mascara makes your eyelashes grow

i have been blessed with ok eyelashes - not too short, not too stubby and they have the potential to really take centre stage if i apply mascara just right. so, i’m always on the lookout for the next big thing w.r.t mascara...(i’m a bit scared of eyelash extensions and those gels you get for your eyelashes that promise they will grow in 2 days etc because heaven forbid they eat my lashes). imagine my surprise when one of the mascaras on the market actually delivered on their promise - revlon's grow luscious mascara is my new fav! it promote lash growth and is a great mascara in its own right. i have been using it for 2 months now ( i actually got it with a copy of the glamour in oct i think) and can definitely see a difference in the length of my lashes...what do you think?

happy friday folks - first friday for 2011 and lets hope its a good one! so, as you know, the start of the new year brings with it hope, anticipation and excitement...which is of-course embodied in all the SALES we are going to start seeing in the malls from now on! the trenery and country road sale starts today at woolies in sandton city and their massive summer sale starts jan 27! so diarise that date ladies! pics courtesy of trenery

ten things i realised in 2010

• i love bafana bafana
• ghana has a good soccer team
• being single and happy is better than being part of a couple and unhappy
• i prefer chardonnay to sauvignon blanc
• to love what you do is priceless. being unhappy at work is not worth it. seriously
• bulgarian yogurt and green apples are soo yum
• it’s better to assume people are good until proven otherwise rather than the other way round
• i dont feel guilty if i refuse to give chuggers (charity muggers) money
• friends are family you pick, but...
• you can’t defriend family even if you really want to

looking forward to what I can learn in 2011. as socrates said: “one thing only i know, and that is that i know nothing”
